Two wrongs don’t make a right. But three lefts do!
The Farragut socialite was showing her new housekeeper around her beautiful old home. In the parlor, she stopped by a small, elegant table. “Now, be very careful with this table, she said. It goes back to Louis the XIV”. The new housekeeper said, “I certainly understand that. I’ve got a whole bedroom suit that goes back to Sears the 15th”.
Sometimes I wish I was what I was when I wished I was what I am now.
Just how exhausted are people who can’t recycle energy drink cans?
I’d avoid any sidewalk psychic who sets up a table and chairs and then it rains.
It’s true, the early bird gets the worm, the early worm gets eaten.
A prayer is like a woman’s mini skirt–it must be short enough to be interesting, but not so short it doesn’t cover everything it should. But a sermon is like a woman’s dress — it must be long enough to cover everything important, but not so long it causes us to lose interest.
